Frequently Asked Questions

What should I wear?

Pilates is usually practiced in socks or bare feet.  If you wear non-baggy clothing, it’s much easier for your posture and alignment to be observed and modified, which will help you achieve your Pilates goals.

I have an injury. Can I do pilates?

If you have injury or restricted movement, please call us or email so we can advise on the most suitable way forward.

I'm booked onto a class... but running late. Should I still turn up?

We understand that unexpected circumstances might mean you can’t get to a class on time.  There’s usually a ten minute warm-up at the beginning of each class so within that period, it’s safe for you to join in.  However, for your health and safety and for the comfort of our other clients, we’re unable to let you into class after the first ten minutes have elapsed.  If this happens, we will do everything possible to fit you into another class.
