"Just a note to say I've thoroughly enjoyed the Studio Sessions with the machines! I've been coming to classes at the studio for quite a while now and have often thought about booking sessions to try out the equipment but never actually gone ahead and done that. Now I wish I'd done it sooner as I'm already feeling the benefits. The combination of having individual instruction and the support that you get from the equipment itself makes it very worthwhile and a great way to develop your Pilates. I was surprised by how much feedback I got from the equipment - on the Reformer I could feel quite clearly where I was going wrong with some exercises allowing me to understand the exercises much better and so correct my own technique.
There are some exercises that I've always struggled with in class but now that I've been doing that exercise on the Cadillac with some individual instruction I can see exactly where I've been going wrong and the result is that I can now do that same exercise in class so much better. Using the equipment puts a different perspective on familiar exercises so that you can improve your technique and also gives you the support you need for the more difficult exercises. I'd recommend sessions on the equipment to anyone and will be booking some more myself when you start the new Studio Sessions using the machines in September."

"Having some studio sessions really has made a difference. Using the equipment, Lynne has been able to show me how to get my body in the right position quickly and easily. Having some resistance makes sense of the exercises already done in the mat work and shows how you have been cheating in the past. I am much more aware of how my body should be while doing the mat work and hope the corrections made will enable me to progress in the knowledge that I am doing things correctly. I really enjoyed having a routine of exercises tailored to me and to having the time to work on my areas of difficulty at my own pace and with help at hand. It has given a new dimension to my Pilates and, as you have to think for yourself more, has added new interest too."
